Blueberries

Our 2023 blueberry season is tentatively scheduled to open the first weekend of April but it may be pushed back until the second weekend of April. Stay tuned!

Keep up with our latest updates on our Facebook Page.

LOCATION: 4400 Bouganvilla Dr, Mims, FL 32754 (or type in "Ever After Farms Blueberry Farm" in Google Maps)

HOURS: Fri, Sat, Sun 9AM to 2PM (closed until first weekend of April 2023)

CONTACT: Keep up with our latest updates on our Facebook Page.
Phone: 321-269-9502
Email: blueberries@everafterfarms.com.

U-PICK TIPS: We take credit cards so you don't have to bring cash. We supply the bags so that you have a place to store your berries while picking as well as to bring home. We provide refreshments too in case you are thirsty or hungry. You may want to bring some sunscreen or a big hat though because we are in the sunshine state. It is a farm with ants and other natural hazards so wear appropriate footwear and leg-wear. But the grounds are groomed and hard enough so that the rows can be navigated by a wheelchair or stroller and the berries are low enough on the bushes so that small children or someone in a chair can reach them easily. We have several outdoor bathrooms as well as a handicap accessible stall too.

NO PETS: Per USDA regulations, we are unable to allow pets on our farm.

Florida's Favorite U-Pick Blueberry Farm

PICK BLUE FUN! With more than 30,000 blueberry plants condensed into 17 acres, we produce upwards of 100,000 lbs of blueberries each year, and are the largest U-Pick Blueberry Farm along the east coast of Florida. We are conveniently located just minutes off of I-95 in the lovely town of Mims, FL. During season, which typically runs from the beginning of April through mid May, people from all over Florida come to our Farm to pick blueberries and enjoy a great day out on the Farm. Our bushes are trimmed so that children and those in wheelchairs can easily reach the blueberries. Most U-Pick farms have bushes that are taller and only adults can reach the bulk of the berries. Not us! Plus, you can ride around the Farm in our Blueberry Express tractor pulled hay wagon. It's an experience you and you're family will truly cherish so get some Pick Blue Fun!

ATTENTION ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS!: Many local elementary schools have field trips to our Farm. Each child needs to only bring $10 to purchase a pound of blueberries to take home and a ride on our Blueberry Express hay ride. We'll also provide the children with a powerpoint presentation on growing blueberries and they will have a blast picking berries that they can actually reach! Yes, we trim our blueberry bushes so that it's easy for kids to pick the berries too. Here's the flyer we email to teachers and school administrators: U-Pick Blueberries Field Trip Flyer Download

Blueberries: America’s Superfood

Nutritionists have classified a handful of foods as “Superfoods”, and the blueberry is one of them. While many superfoods are found in exotic places, such as deep in a rain forest, high on mountain range or on a remote island, the blueberry is native to North America and can be found growing wild from as […]

Frozen Blueberries are Very Healthy Too!

While the nutritional benefits of fresh blueberries are very well known, what may surprise you is just how healthy frozen blueberries can be too. Recent studies have shown that freezing Blueberries does not damage any of the antioxidant capacity, but instead, can actually make the antioxidant content much more available. So the next time you’re […]

Why U-Pick Blueberries Taste So Much Better Than Store Bought Berries

Have you ever wondered why the blueberries you pick directly off the bush taste so much better than the ones at your local grocery store? Maybe you’ve never even picked your own blueberries so you have nothing to compare store bought berries to? If so, you definitely need to go u-picking for blueberries right away! […]
