Coral Castle
Coral Castle is known for its mystery and beauty. The history of the castle, formerly known as “Rock Gate,” is that it was built by Edward Leedskalnin alone. People are often amazed that Ed, a man with a basic education and in diminished health from a severe case of tuberculosis, could complete such a project without any help or modern machinery. Ed, a Latvian immigrant recently jilted at the altar, had two very important tools for success: determination and grit. 

Everglades Alligator Farm
