Our Peaches, Blackberries & Plums
We grow special varieties of that are best suited in the Florida climate, including:
- FlordaPrince Peaches: This is one of the original Florida Peach varieties and they are absolutely incredible. Extremely juicy and is perfect to both eating fresh as well as for baking to-die-for cobblers. These variety ripens first in our fields.
- Tropic Beauty Peaches: The University of Florida released this variety as part of their second round of Florida peaches in hopes of improving upon the original Florda series and the Tropic Beauty was a home run. Many consider this to be one of the greatest tasting peaches ever. This ripens a week or two after the FlordaPrince.
- FlordaGlo Peaches: This has a white flesh interior and also is absolutely fantastic. These ripen a few weeks after the Tropic Beauties.
- Prime-Ark Freedom Blackberries: The invention of this variety of blackberries was extraordinary. There are no thorns, the berries are gigantic and they taste out-of-this-world good. We are so excited to bring you these innovative blackberries that will go great in your next jam or pie.
- Scarlet Beauty Plums: These little purple balls burst with sweetness once they are fully ripe (if you pick them too early, that can be tart!)
U-Pick Tips
- For Peaches, we provide wood peach baskets to collect the peaches you pick and you get to take it home with you.
- For Flowers, we provide a temporary vase for picking your own flower bouquet.
- We take credit cards so you don’t have to bring cash.
- You may want to bring some sunscreen or a big hat though because we are in the sunshine state.
- It is a farm with ants and other natural hazards so wear appropriate footwear and leg-wear.
- Peaches attract bees and wasps so if you are allergic to them, please be cautious.
- The grounds are groomed and hard enough so that the rows can be navigated by a wheelchair or stroller and some of the peaches are low enough on the trees so that small children or someone in a chair can reach them easily.
- We have several outdoor bathrooms as well as a handicap accessible stall too. We provide refreshments too in case you are thirsty or hungry.
- NO PETS: Per USDA regulations, we are unable to allow pets on our farm.
