10 cups of blueberries
6 cups of sugar
1 package fruit pectin
1 dozen 4oz mason jars
Crush blueberries in a food processor until well blended. Transfer to a large pot and stir in the sugar and lemon. Bring to a full boil on high heat, while stirring constantly. Stir in Pectin and boil for two minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from the heat and remove any foam and pour hot mixture into sterilized 4oz jars 3/4 full. Wipe any access from the rim and tightly close. Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes to complete the canning process. This recipe makes 12 4oz jars of jam. Store in a cool dry area for up to 6 months.
